WBO Asia Pacific super bantamweight champion Gabriel Santisima set to defend his title tomorrow in Malungon, Sarangani Province.
Gabriel Santisima will defend his WBO Asia Pacific super bantamweight title tomorrow(July 11) in Malungon, Sarangani Province, in a Sanman Boxing event promoted by Sanman Boxing, Zip Sanman, and Mayor Bong Constantino of the LGU Malungon.
Santisima made weight at 121.9 lbs, while challenger Marsolo Pandian came in at 123 lbs, one pound over the limit. The fight will still push through, but only Santisima can win the belt.
Santisima said he is thankful for the chance to defend his title in the Philippines, said he trained hard for this fight, and added that his goal is to win a world title. He also thanked ZipSanman and his trainers.
