PILIPINAS Sambo Federation Inc. president Paolo Tancontian said the wait is over.
“Team Philippines is locked in, leveled up, and officially ready to take on the best in the region at 2026 Asia-Oceania Sambo Championships set on June 25-28 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila,” said Tancontian.
Former world no. 1 Sydney Sy Tancontian will lead the Philippine national team.
More than 600 athletes from 31 countries will see action.
“Our athletes have put in the blood, sweat, and tears,” said head coach Ace Larida.
“Now it’s time for us to give them the ultimate home court advantage. Let’s show Asia and Oceania how loud the Filipino spirit can get!” said Larida.
Tickets will be sold at PHP 100 each.
