Alex Eala of the Philippines shocked world No. 2 Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4, at the Round of 16 of the WTA 500 Berlin Open.
With the huge win, Eala will face Elena Svitolina of Ukraine in the quarter final round, who brought down Eva Lys of Germany in similar straight sets, 6-3,6-2.
