Ceremonial moves between National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) Board of Director Judge Gonzalo Mapili and Neil Jacinto, General Trias City, Cavite Vice Mayor Jonas Porto Labuguen and Van Salinas, Coach Ederwin Estavillo and Bruce Tatad and One Cavite Chess Association (OCCA) President Rolando Aggarao and Sofie Hillary Estavilo to usher the start of Cavite Inter-Town Chess Tournament at Robinsons Place General Trias City, Cavite on Saturday, May 30,2026.
The 2 day event was also supported by Cavite Governor Francisco Gabriel Remulla, General Trias City, Cavite Mayor Luis Alandy "Jon Jon" Ferrer IV and Tanza Mayor Archangelo "SM" Matro.
Supervised by national Arbiters Boyet Tardecilla and Israel Landicho.
This Swiss competition was participated by 42 teams in the adult team division while 36 teams in the kiddies 12 years old And below team category. -Marlon Bernardino-
