NO less than Cavite Governor Francisco Gabriel Remulla will be the guest of honor when the Cavite Inter-Town Chess Tournament gets underway on Saturday , May 30, 2026 at the Robinsons Place General Trias City, Cavite.
Gov. Remulla will deliver inspirational remarks in the opening ceremony on Saturday of the One Cavite Chess Association tournament.
Gov. Remulla is expected to make the ceremonial moves together with General Trias City Mayor Luis "Jon Jon" Ferrer IV, Tanza Mayor Archangelo "SM" Matro, District 8 Board Member Aimee Nazareno, City of General Trias Youth Office Head Baby Lyn Kempiz, City of Imus Sports Development Unit Head Jericho Reyes, and Provincial Youth Office Head Jay-R Rodil.
OCCA President Coach Rolando Aggarao, OCCA Youth Group President Stephen Von Estavillo, National Arbiters Boyet Tardecilla and Israel Landicho are also invited to attend the opening ceremony in the two-day (May 30-31,2026) rapid chess event.-Marlon Bernardino-
