UNBEATEN Arvin Jhon "The Sniper" Paciones and Richard "The Badz" Laspoña will clash tomorrow night, May 24, Sunday for the WBO Oriental flyweight title at the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City.
The 21-year-old Paciones [12-0-0, 7KOs] of Cebu is rated no. 5 in the WBO. He is also ranked as no. 11 in WBC and no. 13 in IBC.
Paciones and Laspoña [11-0-0, 7KOs] both had 111.4 pounds in the official weighin.
Meanwhile, undefeated Zyvyr John “Blitz Kid” Medecillo [8-0-0, 4KOs] will fight Tatsuro Nakashima [12-5-2, 7KOs] of Japan for the vacant WBC International minimumweight title in the main supporting bout in 10-rounds.
Claire “The Hammer” Villarosa [6-0-1, 4KOs] will collide with Felipe “Quadro King” Tiempo [4-0-0, 3KOs] for the vacant Philippine Youth super flyweight championship in 8-rounds.
Charimae Salvador will face Cherry Mae Rosas for the vacant Philippine female super flyweight title.
The event, dubbed as the “Triple Threat” is promoted by Cucuy Elorde of UKC Pro Boxing Edition and Lennon Tsoi.
