Jacamos fights for vacant WBC Youth World junior fly in South Africa on May 23

UNDEFEATED Neel “No Fear” Jacamos of General Santos City will fight unbeaten Siseko “King Panda” of South Africa for the vacant WBC Youth World junior flyweight title on May 23 at the Jan Smut Stadium in Arcadia, East London.

The official weigh-in will be tomorrow at 11 am at the Mdantsan City Mall.

The 24-year-old Jacamos [7-0-0,1KOs] arrived in South Africa last May 19 with trainer Sulpicio Anoos.

“I don't like predictions in the game because I can't predict the fight at all, so everything will be seen on the ring”, said Jacamos.

“As long as I'm doing my best, I'll try to get the belt,” he said.

Jacamos hopes that no one gets hurt too much in their fight.

“It's good to hear that I'm fighting for the country and I’m proud to represent the Philippines,” he said.

Jacamos recently outpointed Kurt John Pabular of Bansalan to take away the Philippine Youth light flyweight title last August 12 in Magpet.

Teyisi [9-0-0, 7KOs], on the other hand, had three bouts last year.

He first won the Boxing South Africa South African light fly by outslugged Abonaile Jacobs [UD] last April.

Teyisi then beat Elmar Zamora [UD] to bag the IBF Inter-Continental light flyweight title last September.

He retained the BSASA title by knocking out Athekos Thongwana in the 12th round last December.
