Bohat fights for PBF Silver bantamweight crown

UNDEFEATED Jubet “Vampire” Bohat of Davao de Oro [formerly Compostela Valley] will fight Ricky Cajutol of Agusan del Sur for the Philippine BoxingFederation [PBF] Silver super bantamweight championship title on June 21 at the DRP Sports Complex in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City.

The 25-year-old Bohat [8-0-0, 5KOs] is trained by former IBF light flyweight champion Tacy Macalos.

He is managed by Art Monis, also a matchmaker.

“We are equally skilled in the fight to delight the people watching,” said Bohat.

Cajutol won the Mindanao Professional Boxing Federation [MinProBA] bantamweight title last September 2024 by beating Jemar Layom in Bislig.

Cajutol recently lost to Marsolo Pandian by a 1st round knockout for the PBF super bantamweight title last January 26 in Malasigui.

“I will just try my best to win this fight,”said Bohat.

Bohat recently knocked out Kier Clenton Espere of Surigao City in the 2nd round last March 24 in San Fernando City.

He earlier stopped Sarangani’s Jayar Diama in the 2ndround last August 23 at Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City.

“I will continue with my dream of becoming a world champion,” said Bohat.

The championship belt is donated by Vice Mayor Phanie Teves-Wong and promoter Dave Almario.

The event, dubbed as the “Bakbakan sa Putatan” is promoted by the DS Almario Promotions.
