VINCE "Kamikazee" Paras of General Santos City is now ready to face reigning Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation super flyweight champion Aoi Yokoyama of Japan on June 6 at the Aichi Sky Expo in Nagoya.
“I’m always preparing and practicing,” said Paras, who is being trained by Benny “Tatay” dela Peña and assistant Richie Cerillo.
Manager JC Manangquil still doesn't know when they will be going to Japan.
“My opponent is a good amateur,” said Paras.
The 24-year-old Yokohama is a former Japanese National Champion in 2023.
“All I can say is that it will be a good fight,” said Paras.
Former world champion John Riel “Quadro Alas” Casimero [35-5-1, 24KOs] of Ormoc City and unbeaten prospect Kenneth “The Lover Boy” Llover [17-0-0, 12KOs] of Cavite will all see action against international opponents.
Casimero will fight against Luis Nery [37-2-0, 28KOs] of Mexico while Llover will face undefeated Michael Angeletti of USA in the 12-round main event.
Koki Kameda of Kameda Promotions is the promoter.
