Lerasan to fight for WBO Asian Pacific bantam title

ADRIAN “Wild Beast” Lerasan of Antipolo City will fight against Sento Ito of Japan for the vacant WBO Asian Pacific bantamweight title on April 19 at the Towa Pharmaceutical Ractab Dome in Kadoma.

The 27-year-old Lerasan [16-8-0, 7KOs] won the vacant Philippine bantamweight title by stopping Noli James Maguilan last March 20, 2025 at Osaka Manila Hotel and Casino in Paranaque City.

Lerasan, who now lives in Mandaluyong City, recently beat Japan’s Reo Nishioka by a split decision last November 5 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

Ito [5-0-0, 4KOs], on the other hand, has won all three fights in 2025.

The 20-year-old Ito outslugged Alvin Camigue of Sultan Kudarat by a unanimous decision last January 18 in Korakuen.

Ito then knocked out Ranelio Quizo of Zamboanga del Norte in the 4th round last May 6 at Central Gym in Kobe.

In his last fight, Ito scored a technical knockout against Ricardo Sueno of Sagay City in the 2nd round last October 10 last EDION Arena in Osaka.

Masaya Motoishi of Green Tsuda Promotions and Hideyuki Ohashi of Ohashi Promotions are the promoters.
