Biasong fights Bustrillo on April 18 in Bukidnon

ORTHODOX Lourinz “Longlong” Biasong of Manolo Fortich will fight at his hometown against Brian Bustrillo of Bohol on April 18 in Bukidnon.

“We just prepared for the fight and we trained a lot,” said Biasong [7-2-0, 2KOs].

Biasong is trained by Dondon Jimenea and his sparring partner is former IBO World flyweight champion Dave “Dobermann” Apolinario [21-2-0, 14KOs] of Sarangani.

“I can't do it like I can KO. What's important is your win, it's important to reach a round,” said Biason.

Biasong, who is managed by JC Manangquil of Sanman Boxing, had four wins last year.

He first scored a unanimous decision against Jimmybig Cais of Bohol last March 12 at Bula Gym in General Santos City.

He then stopped Clyde Azarcon of Davao City in the 2nd round last April 25 in Manolo Fortich.

Biasong beat Ramel Antaran of Sarangani by a majority decision last July 11 in General Santos City.

In his last fight, Biasong outslugged Bukidnon’s Jeny Boy Boca by a unanimous decision last December 21 in Davao City.

Bustrillo [4-2-1, 3KOs] recently settled a majority draw with Joebert Dacullo of Mandaue last January 17 at Duero Gym in Duero.

It will be the supporting match of the “Ring of Glory”.

The event is promoted by RingMaster Boxing Promotions and Verano Promotions.
