JERALD “Truman” Into of Zamboanga del Sur will face former PBF lightweight champion Ernie Sanchez on February 9 at the Ville Kristen Resort Hotel in General Santos City.
“I can't say anything about Sanchez because we will still fight,” said the 26-year-old Into [13-1-0, 10KOs].
Into is still training with coach Jovil Marayan in Quibors Gym in Bacoor, Cavite.
“It's hard to predict the fight. I’m still 150 kilos,” said Into.
Into recently stopped Alvin Lagumbay in the 1st round last August 31 at Phela Grande Convention in General Santos City.
Earlier, Into lost to Sanatali Toltayev by a unanimous decision in the WBC Grand Prix super lightweight Round of 16 last June 20 at Cool Arena in Riyadh.
Into is already set to fight also Yonggiang Yang [17-0-0, 12KOs] of China for the WBO Global lightweight title on April 12 at the Jiagen Sport Gym in Xiamen, China.
