ORTHODOX Claire Villarosa settled a majority draw with John Rey Labajo in their battle for the vacant Philippine Youth super flyweight title last night, August 31 at the Phela Grande Convention in General Santos City.
It was an upset for Villarosa, who was expected to win the fight.
Villarosa now has one draw against four wins with two knockouts while Labajo has two draws with four wins and three loses.
Meanwhile, Sem Jopet “Principe Red” Enano stopped Reycar Auxillo in the 5th round in an 8th round.
Enano improved his record to seven wins, one loss with three knockouts while Auxillo suffered his sixth loss against seven wins and one draw.
The event was organized by Sanman Boxing and sponsored by Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao and the City Government of Gensan as part of the Tuna Festival.
