Paradero looking to bounce against Abne

ROBERT “Inggo” Paradero of Malaybalay City now really wants a victory after losing all his fights since February 2021.

Paradero is fighting for the OPBF Silver flyweight championship title against reigning title-holder April Jay “Astroboy” Abne of Misamis Oriental on August 15 in Cebu City.

“Yes, I’m ready to fight already,” said the 27-year-old Paradero.

Paradero, who will now climb the flyweight division, will be in Cebu on August 13 together with his companion, who is not already his trainer or manager.

Since he fought and lost to Vince Paras of General Santos City in April 2022, Paradero had no more manager or trainer.

“It's been a long time since I had a misunderstanding with my manager,” said Paradero.

Paradero now trains with the amateur and sometimes goes with the fitness gym.

He also gets help with the other fellow boxers.

“I really want to win now,” said Paradero, who now has 18 wins with five loses, one draw and 12 knockouts.

The 24-year-old Abne, on the other hand, has 12 wins with only one loss with six knockouts,

The main event top-bills reigning Asian Boxing Federation flyweight title-holder Miel Fajardo of Agusan del Sur against WBO Asia Pacific Youth light flyweight champion John Paul Gabunilas of Cebu.
