UNDEFEATED Kevin Jake “KJ” Cataraja of Cebu City will fight former Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation light flyweight champion Edward “El Heneral Fighting” Heno of Paranaque City for the OPBF super flyweight title on February 11 in General Santos City.

Cataraja (15-0, 13KOs) is sparring with Christian “The Bomb” Araneta, Mark “Rasta Mac” Vicelles and newly-crowned WBO World minimumweight champion Melvin “Gringo” Jerusalem.

“Everyone from Team ZIP will go to Gensan to give support to me,” said the 27-year-old Cataraja,

Team ZIP will be in Gensan on February 9.

“This will be a nice fight since Heno is also a veteran,” said Cataraja.

Cataraja said that he will be looking first at Heno.

Heno, 30, had two comeback fights last year. He first scored a unanimous decision against Renoel Pael of Leyte last November 5, 2022 at Pasig City.

Heno (15-1-6, 5K0) settled a unanimous draw with Brian Lobetania last December 12 at La Trinidad.

The fight is promoted by the Sanman Boxing Promotion composed of JC Manangquil, John Ray Manangquil and Dexter Tan.
