THE fight between Vince “J-Vince” Paras of General Santos City and Robert “Inggo” Paradero of Malaybalay, Bukidnon Tuesday, April 26 at the Sanman Gym in General Santos City ended in a split draw.
Judge Brembot Dulalas scored it 98-92 in favor of Paras while Rodolfo Alocelja saw it 96-94 for Paradero.
But judge Sabas Ponpon Jr. scored it a tie at 95-all.
“There should be a rematch I think,” said boxer
Kenny Demecillo, who stopped Macrea Gandionco in the main supporting match.
Both Paras and Paradero had been hit but no one was knocked down.
“Daug man unta mi gi tabla pa (We should have won but it was still a draw),” said Paradero.
There is a possible rematch between the two boxers.
“Tanawon lang, daug man unta ko (I will look, I would have won),” said Paradero.
Efforts to get the side of Paras prove futile as of press time.
The floor was also so slippery that Paradero slipped in the 10th round.
The boxing promotion dubbed as the Sanman Bubble IX was promoted by the Sanman Boxing Promotion in coordination with ZIP.
