PINOY PRIDE 44 COMPLETE BOXING CARD

ALA Sports Promotions International, Inc. presents Pinoy Pride 44 at the Maasin City Gym, Maasin City, Southern Leyte on June 9, 2018 at 6:00PM.

In the main event, "Prince? Albert Pagara (29-1-0, 20 KOs) of Maasin City, Philippines battles Laryea Gabriel Odoi (20-3-2, 14 KOs) of Accra, Ghana for the vacant WBO intercontinental junior featherweight championship (122lbs) for 12 rounds.

In the co-feature, Jeo ?Santino? Santisima (15-2-0, 13 KOs) of Aroroy, Masbate, Philippines faces Likit Chane (16-5-0, 10 KOs) of Songkhla, Thailand for the vacant WBO Oriental junior featherweight championship (122lbs) for 12 rounds.

In the supporting bouts, Jason ?El Nino? Pagara of Maasin City, Philippines (40-3-1, 25 KOs) fights Geisler AP (12-10-1, 9 KOs) of Jayapura, Indonesia for 10 rounds in the 147lb. division.

?King? Arthur Villanueva (31-3-0, 17 KOs) of Bago City, Negros Occidental clashes with Renren Tesorio (16-12-3, 4 KOs) of Taguig City, Metro Manila for 10 rounds in the 118lb. division.

Villanueva once held the WBO Asia Pacific super flyweight title, the WBO international super flyweight title, the IBF international jr. bantamweight title, and the WBC international super flyweight title.

On July 19, 2015, "King Arthur" lost a controversial technical decision to former Olympian Mcjoe Arroyo for the vacant IBF superflyweight title.

On April 22, 2017, he also lost to Zolani Tete for the WBO interim bantamweight title by unanimous decision.

Melvin Jerusalem (12-2, 7 KOs) of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon brawls with Philip Luis Cuerdo (10-4-1, 4 KOs) of Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila for 10 rounds in the 108lb. division.

Jerusalem, ranked No.9 by the WBC in the mini-flyweight rankings, fought the champion Wanheng Menayothin on January 25, 2017. Menayothin won a tightly contested unanimous decision. Jerusalem was deducted a point in the eight round for a low blow. Without the deduction, the bout would have ended in a majority draw.

Menayothin recently tied Floyd Mayweather's record with 50 wins in 50 fights with a 5th-round KO of Panama's Leroy Estrada last May 2.

Go Hosaka, a Fil-Japanese boxer vs. Holly Quinones, a new recruit from General Santos City for 6 rounds in the 135lb. division.

In the preliminary bouts, Joyjoy Formentera of Maribojoc, Bohol exchanges punches with Lobert Bayo of Mandaue City for 6 rounds in the 116lb. division.

Jeno Macapobre of Toledo City tussles with Carlito Antaran of General Santos for 4 rounds in the 112lb. division.
