THE main protagonists in the ?Undefeated? fight card are all set for a crucial showdown as Jade Bornea and Danrick Sumabong hurdled the initial test after making weight for their title showdown tomorrow (April 28) in Glan, Saranggani Province.
Fighting for the vacant WBO Oriental Youth superflyweight title, Jade Bornea (10W-0L-0D, 7KOs) and Danrick Sumabong (5W-0L-0D, 4KOs) both tipped the scales at 115 pounds.
In the main undercard, Harmonito Dela Torre (19W-1L-0D, 12KOs) weighed 138 pounds, while Jovany Rota (9W-13L, 6KOs) logged 143, way above the 143-pound catchweight.
In a six-rounder lightweight division duel, Ernie Sanchez (17W-11L-1D, 8KOs) weighed 135 pounds. Sanchez will be facing Noel Adelmita (13W-12L-2D, 2KOs), whose weight was not immediately known as he did not arrive on time for the weigh-in.
In another six-rounder lightweight division encounter, the comebacking Mark Bernaldez (15W-1L-0D, 10KOs) and JP Macadumpis (11W-11L-1D, 5KOs) both tipped the scales at 134 pounds.
Ken Jordan (6W-1L-1D, 5KOs) weighed 118 pounds for his six-round bantamweight duel with Wiljan Ugbaniel (13W-7L-1D, 4KOs), who logged 117 pounds.
Japan?s Motoki Osanai (120 lbs ) and Alvin Bais (121lbs) will be tangling for six rounds under the superbantamweight division, whole Jayson Francisco (105lbs) and Rocky Sardido (106lbs) will duke it out also for six rounds under the minimumweight category.
The card?s opening show will pit Regie Mananquil (109lbs) against Roger Salaton (110lbs) in a four-round lightflyweight duel.
