Rene Mark “Mighty Mouse” Cuarto

Rene Mark Revillas Cuarto (born August 4, 1996, in Jose Dalman, Zamboanga del Norte), nicknamed “Mighty Mouse”, is a Filipino orthodox boxer who held the IBF mini-flyweight title from 2021 to 2022. He turned professional in 2014, winning his debut in Davao City, and later captured the WBO Oriental mini-flyweight belt in 2018. Cuarto claimed the IBF crown on February 27, 2021, defeating Pedro Taduran by unanimous decision, and retained it in their 2022 rematch via technical decision. His reign ended in July 2022 with a split-decision loss to Daniel Valladares in Monterrey, Mexico. Cuarto continued to campaign actively, scoring notable wins over Dexter Alimento and Clyde Azarcon, while also facing international contenders like Ginjiro Shigeoka and Shokichi Iwata. As of 2025, his professional record stands at 34 fights, 24 wins (14 KOs), 8 losses, and 2 draws, remembered as a gritty champion from Zamboanga del Norte who brought the IBF belt back to the Philippines.
